I moved here to Alabama to care for his ailing father while he prepared for Iraq duty. We've been here ever since.
I have two children, my daughter is 12 and my son is 6. I am pursuing my own business because going out to work for someone else is not only not what I want to do, but it's not economical either. Childcare expenses would barely be covered by anything I would make working outside the home. The children would have to quit all of their extracurricular activities if I had to work outside of the home. I wouldn't be able to take them to their games, or to their church activities. So, I stay home and try to make the much needed money here.
